Why do I get a “Disk Quota Exceeded” error in FTP?
The “Disk Quota Exceeded” error is often shown when your account has reached or surpassed its inode limitation. On all free hosting accounts, the inode limit is 30,000. Like all Linux filesystems, each file and each folder on your website takes up one inode.
To continue using FTP, all you have to do is remove unneeded or unused files and folders from your website. If you continue to get the error, you may have to wait 24 hours for our system to reset. Note that your website will not be taken offline during this time, it will continue to serve your visitors.
If you need additional inodes on your account, please upgrade to premium hosting.
