Why do I see a “This Site Cannot Be Found” error?
You may see a BODIS parking page (advertisement page) or a “This site cannot be found” error on your website if it was recently connected to our services, or if the domain has not been added to a TinkerHost account yet.
In most cases, you will see these pages because of DNS propagation. Please see our article on DNS propagation to learn more about the DNS process. In short, it can take up to 72 hours before your website starts working due to the nature of the internet.
How can I see my website faster?
While it is not possible to speed up the process for every internet user, you can speed up the process on an individual device. In order to do this, you will need to force your computer to get updated information about your website. Each method below has a different amount of time to complete, and a different percentage of success.
