Does TinkerHost provide support?
TinkerHost offers various types of support, depending on the problem that you face. See the sections below to learn how you can get the assistance you need!
My account was permanently suspended
When an account is permanently suspended, you have the option to create a support ticket in the control panel. In order to create the ticket, open the account that is suspended, then select the “Open Ticket” option. If the account is suspended and the ticket option is not available, your account is temporarily suspended, not permanently suspended.
My account was temporarily suspended
If your account is temporarily suspended, open the account in the client area and click the link in the suspension banner to learn more. You can create a new topic on our community forum with any questions that you may have about the suspension.
My website is not working, or is showing an error(s)
If your website is not working the way you expect, you have a few options:
- Search the internet for your error message. Be sure to include the name of the software you are using. Chances are that you are not the first person to get the error
- Contact the creator of the script for assistance. They will know more about the script than anyone else will, they created it after all!
- Create a topic on our community forum. Be sure to explain the error in detail. What is the error, what script(s) your website is running, what you did when the error appeared, etc.
- Use one of the support options below

If you spot a vulnerability, or have a business offer for us, please reach out to us by sending an email to security@tinkerhost.net or hello@tinkerhost.net respectively. We will not process support requests sent to these inboxes. Additionally, spam and scams are not permitted at the above addresses.
Other Support Options
Do you currently subscribe to Premium Hosting? If you do, you may create a support ticket though your premium account's client area. Premium Hosting support queries are managed by a dedicated support team.
Are you subscribed to TinkerHost+ or TinkerHost Educator+?* If so, you may send a support ticket via the TinkerHost client area by clicking here, or the "Tickets" button in the navigation bar. You may also send an email to support@tinkerhost.net for priority email support. Please note that we still recommend using the Community Forum for non-sensitive matters as it offers the fastest response time.
Users that are not subscribed to any plan may receive basic support by creating a topic on the Community Forum (Recommended, fastest response time) or by sending an email to support@tinkerhost.net (Response time varies for non-subscribers).
Can I pay you for support?
While TinkerHost does offer a paid plan (TinkerHost+) that gives you full-time access to the ticket center and priority support via email.† If you are interested, please check out our upgrade page, we would love your support!
