Why is there a “?i=1” (?i=2, ?i=3) at the end of my URL?
This is part of a security system that TinkerHost uses to prevent unauthorized requests to your website. This system helps to prevent account suspension, and helps protect our servers. The system works by checking your visitors to make sure they have JavaScript and Web Cookies enabled. If the check fails, the increment counter (i) increases by one (From 1 to 2, 2 to 3). If the check fails three times, the visitor will be redirected to a support article written by Google explaining how to enable cookies in your browser.
How can I disable this system?
The security system cannot be disabled on TinkerHost free accounts due to past abuse. Plans from TinkerHost Pro or Premium hosting from iFastNet do not have the system installed. Learn more about upgrading your account.
Why is my browser redirected to Google’s cookie support page?
When our security system (Described above) repeatedly fails its check of your browser, our system will redirect you to Google’s cookie support page.
