Is my account actually suspended?
The suspended website page does not always mean your website is suspended. To check if your website is suspended, open the Client Area (app.tinkerhost.net) and select “Accounts”. Open the account that your domain is connected to, and check the status at the top of the page.
My account is suspended
Please read the information provided in the red banner to learn more about the suspension, and what actions (if any) you need to take to unsuspend your account.
My account is not suspended
Here are a few reasons why you may see the suspended domain page:
- The domain is pointed to our nameservers, but not connected to an account.
- The domain was connected to TinkerHost, but is now pointing to other nameservers, and they have not yet propagated.
- The account is deactivated, but the domain is still connected to it.
- If you are using Cloudflare or another external DNS provider, you may have pointed your site to the wrong IP address, or forgot to add the domain to your account first.
In most cases, these issues will resolve themselves in 72 hours. If the problem does not resolve itself after this time, make sure that you have correctly set up your domain and your account. Feel free to create a topic on our community forum with any questions!
