How can I reset my hosting account?
Messed something up and want to start anew?
First, remove any domains that are connected to your account. In the control panel, check the sections titled “Subdomains”, “Addon Domains”, and “Parked Domains”. Make sure to remove all the domains in this section before you continue
Next, download a copy of your files and database if you wish. Once you complete the next step, you may not be able to recover these files. Check out our article on backing up your website to learn more about this process.
After your domains are removed and you have the backups you want, locate the “Edit Account” or “Account Settings” button in the client area for the account. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and request that the account be deleted.
Lastly, go back to the “My Accounts” page. Click on the new account button and create a new account. After about 5 minutes, your new account will be created, and you can start from scratch! You will want to add any additional domains to your new account in the control panel, then upload a copy of your database and files to the appropriate locations if you wish.
